What is necessary to change a person is to change his awareness of himself.-Abraham Maslow

The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are. -Carl Jung

The ability to meet my clients where they are and accompany them through their journey of self-discovery, healing, and growth is a privilege I hold dear. Life can feel defeating at times, but our perspective holds much power. The most beautiful growth can be achieved through our adversities. I believe empowerment comes with being true to who we really are and loving ourselves along the way. I practice therapy from a person-centered approach, tailoring interventions to each of my clients individual needs. I encourage my clients to bring any issue to the table in therapy, and openly welcome the spirituality component. I view mental wellness as holistic; body, mind, and spirit are all interconnected.

I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health at the University of the Cumberlands (CACREP accredited), and I completed my undergrad in Psychology. I have experience working with mood disorders, anxiety, substance abuse, and personality disorders in both adults and adolescents. I have been trained in DBT, nurturing parenting, and Gottman Level 1 & 2 in couples counseling.
